The Crop Top File

Crop tops can be tricky, especially if you don’t want to show too much skin but want to be on top of the latest trends! Well, I believe I have the solution.

In my opinion, any crop top looks best with high waisted shorts. With this sheer crop, I’d HIGHLY suggest wearing a bandeau or tank under it. If you want a cool festival look, bring out your best sandals (mine give it a little pop of color), any bralette of your choosing, and a chain to give it some edge. This floral H&M would probably look best with light wash or white denim, but since it’s not in season, I sure can’t be the one to break the rules!

This crop is super easy to dress up with the right accessories. My baby pink tea-length skirt makes this easy-going top look much nicer than it actually is, and is perfect for a brunch date or afternoon party! Strappy heels are my personal favorite to wear with this skirt (or any tea-length skirt) because they show just enough skin and don’t cut off your legs. And for someone as short as I am, that’s key! Throw your hair in a messy braid to make the look seem more effortless. Dainty studs and a necklace that won’t over power the top are the perfect baubles to tie the outfit together!
